Interim Business Controller wanted for the controlling team of this international FMCG company.

Your mission as the Business Controller is to bring a fact-based and cross-departmental view to the commercial business partners and serve as the guardian of strong, profitable and sustainable growth. You will see new tasty ideas are born and, with your support, witness how they become tangible products on the shelf of your nearby retailer. This position runs for 3 months, from 14 June until 13 September 2023.

In this position, you report directly to the Gross Margin Controller and will lead the Business Controlling processes for the FMCG category, including:

* Being a business partner for the Sales & Marketing teams; You ensure they receive and properly understand brand & customer financial insights
* Supporting the teams in the process of building business cases of new products
* Together with Sales & Marketing, preparing the forecast of your category including risks & opportunities
* Performing month-end activities, fulfilling group and internal reporting requirements and ensuring everything is properly reflected in the systems
* Managing Trade Terms accruals properly reflecting business commitments
* Ensuring compliance with the company's accounting requirements and internal control rules
* Driving the continuous improvement of tools, reports and processes in your arena

To be successful in this role, we believe you need to have:

* Successfully completed a study program, preferably with a specialization in finance
* Relevant professional experience in finance/controlling within an international FMCG business
* A proactive outlook, a true problem solving focus and an analytical mindset with a laser focus on details
* A resilient personality and are able to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
* Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot)
* Professionally proficient English language skills

This concerns a 3-month interim role based on an hourly rate of max 95 euros per hour. For the first month, you will work 100% in the office, thereafter transitioning to a 50/50 hybrid format.
